Introduction

Welcome to Country Club Cleaners. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services, and describes the rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, and billing information provided when you register or place an order.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our website, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on pages.
  • Cookies: Small data files placed on your device to enhance your browsing experience and analyze site usage.

For California residents, the categories of personal information we collect, the sources we collect it from, the purposes we use it for, and the categories of parties we disclose it to are summarized in the "Your California Privacy Rights" section below.

How We Use Your Information

Country Club Cleaners uses the information we collect to:

  • Process and fulfill your orders and service requests
  • Communicate with you about your account or transactions
  • Send promotional emails and updates (you may opt out at any time)
  • Improve our website and customer experience
  • Comply with legal obligations

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information, including mobile phone numbers, to third parties. We also do not "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms ("sell" and "share") are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We may disclose your information to trusted service providers and contractors who assist us in operating our website and conducting our business, such as payment processors, website hosting providers, communication (email and SMS) providers, and analytics providers, only for the limited business purposes described in this policy and provided they are contractually required to keep your information confidential and to use it only on our behalf. We may also disclose your information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our business or customers.

Sensitive Personal Information

Some of the information we collect, such as payment or financial account information used to process your orders, may be considered "sensitive personal information" under California law. We use and disclose this information only for the purposes of providing the services you have requested, processing payments, preventing fraud, and other purposes permitted by the CCPA. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and we do not sell or share it.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to enhance your experience. You can choose to disable cookies through your browser settings; however, some features of our website may not function properly as a result.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law, after which we securely delete or anonymize it. We determine the appropriate retention period based on the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information, the purposes for which we process it, and applicable legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Your Rights

Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information below.

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information. This section describes those rights and how to exercise them.

Categories of personal information we collect. In the preceding twelve (12) months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information:

Category Examples Collected
Identifiers Name, email address, phone number, IP address, account identifiers Yes
Customer records / commercial information Billing information, services purchased or requested, order history Yes
Internet or network activity Browsing and interaction with our website, cookie and usage data Yes
Geolocation data Approximate location derived from IP address Yes
Sensitive personal information Payment or financial account information used to process orders Yes

Sources of personal information. We collect personal information directly from you (for example, when you register, place an order, or contact us), automatically from your device and browser as you use our website, and from service providers who help us operate our business (such as payment processors).

Business purposes for collection. We collect and use this information for the purposes described in the "How We Use Your Information" section above, including fulfilling orders, communicating with you, improving our services, preventing fraud, and complying with legal obligations.

Disclosure of personal information. We disclose the categories of personal information above to service providers and contractors for the business purposes described in this policy. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your rights. As a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know / Access: Request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it.
  • Delete: Request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Correct: Request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing: Direct us not to sell or share your personal information. Because we do not sell or share your personal information, there is currently nothing for you to opt out of; if our practices change, we will update this policy and provide the required opt-out mechanism.
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information: Direct us to limit our use of your sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide our services. We already restrict our use of sensitive personal information to these permitted purposes.
  • Non-discrimination: Exercise your privacy rights without receiving discriminatory treatment, such as denial of services, different prices, or a different level of service.

How to exercise your rights. You may submit a request to know, delete, correct, opt out, or limit by contacting us using the contact information in the "Contact Us" section below. We will need to verify your identity before processing your request, which may require you to confirm certain information we already have on file. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require the agent to provide proof of your authorization and may still ask you to verify your identity directly.

Our response. We will confirm receipt of your request within ten (10) business days and respond within forty-five (45) days. If we need more time, we may extend this period by an additional forty-five (45) days and will notify you of the extension and the reason for it. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to a verifiable request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.

Browser privacy signals. Some browsers offer a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal that communicates a consumer's opt-out preference. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is no sale or sharing for such a signal to opt out of; we nonetheless respect applicable browser privacy preferences where they apply to our practices.

"Shine the Light." California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about a business's disclosure of personal information to third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose your personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately. Consistent with California law, we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Changes to This Policy

Country Club Cleaners reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time, and will review and update it at least once every twelve (12) months as required by California law. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
